H&K’s customers operate in some of the most demanding physical and operational environments in the world. As a result, we understand the need to ensure our product packaging will stand up to threats like corrosion or physical damage. The shipping process itself can be risky as heavy parts can shift and get damaged. H&K has developed an industry-leading packaging and preservation process to address these concerns and to assure our customers that your parts arrive at your facility in the same condition as they leave ours.
Our ferrous metal product is protected at our facility with protective sealants and/or VCI packaging as needed to ensure safe transport. Most H&K products can be left in their protective packaging for months or longer without risk of corrosive harm. Other larger metal and electrical parts are all protected in the same manner to maintain the quality and longevity of the parts after they leave our facility.
All H&K shipping cartons, crates, and special packaging meet or exceed the minimum specifications outlined by the shippers we utilize. This guarantees the natural movement of the parts in transit will not become damaged. We also utilize custom-built crates for high moving parts such as water pumps, power packs, and blowers.
Our process is guided by our focus on quality, and it is backed by our AAR M-1003 quality assurance program.
